Dr Cynthia C. Umezulike
Dr Cynthia Chisom Umezulike is a human rights barrister and solicitor, lecturer in law at the University of Buckingham and a prolific human rights activist campaigning for a human rights-based approach to climate and environmental sustainability . She is the President of Global Human Rights Centre London and Director of Programs and convener for the International Conference on Human Rights, Sustainability and Climate Change (ICHRSCC). Dr. Umezulike provides expert human rights due diligence consultation and advisory technical support to international organisations, businesses, NGO’s and governments. She has two master's degrees from Queen Mary University of London and the University of East London. She also has a Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) from Birkbeck, University of London. Her research interests include a human rights approach to climate change and legal protection of the right to a healthy sustainable environment.
Dr. Obinna Christian Edeji
Dr Obinna C. Edeji is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Buckingham. He is also an Admission tutor and leads different undergraduate and master's modules. He is a qualified and licensed legal practitioner (Nigeria). He engages in interdisciplinary research and his areas of interest include international human rights law; economic, social, and cultural rights (socio-economic rights), and political economy and its impact on access to human rights. His publications are in these areas.
