Independent Student Journal

The Independent Student Journal (ISJ) is an exciting and innovative new publication which endeavours to encapsulate and celebrate the cherished concepts of free-thinking, free-speech and independent thought on universities campuses. Reflecting the University of Buckingham’s founding philosophy of liberty, freedom for the individual and freedom from the state, the Journal is a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary academic endeavour designed to promote the exchange of original research and content by students.

Currently, the Journal seeks to publish articles in the flowing sections:

  • Economics and Business
  • International Relations
  • Medicine
  • Psychology
